Kate Woosey, Financial Planner at Alex.

Kate Woosey, Financial Planner at Alex.

Meet me.

Coming from a creative background, I saw first hand the lack of financial advice and guidance available for freelancers and people working in the creative industry. Having seen a need for accessible, personal financial advice, I took the decision to retrain as a financial adviser, setting up Alex to help change the way self-employed consultants, small businesses, and creatives engage with their finances. I put in place steps to build security through personalised financial advice, delivered online or in-person.

What you can expect.

It’s Personal.

I actively listen and work with you to understand your financial goals and align your values with your money.

A Higher Standard.

Your best interests are paramount and I’m straightforward about what I do for you and what it costs.

Clear fees.

Affordable advice, always.

Testimonials.

“Excellent service - speedy and informative and perfectly tailored to my requirements. Would highly recommend!”

— Martha McNaughton

“Kate is exactly the sort of person I want to speak to about my finances. She is approachable, down-to-earth and genuine. As a start-up creative business, things like pensions and income protection had fallen to the back of my mind - and felt way over my head. Kate made things very easy to understand and I now feel sorted and secure. I very much trust her judgement, I know she gives me the best possible advice for me and my business.”

— Natasha Jackson, Brand Story

“As someone who runs their own freelance business, but who is admittedly rubbish with money, I always knew that I needed a professional to help get my finances in order. However, the world of financial advisors always felt a bit intimidating - until I met Kate. Kate is diligent, friendly and knowledgable and manages to be both credible and relatable in equal measure.”

— Coni Longden
